social impact
"My team volunteered to host a tea party for our charity partner North London Cares. It was great to get to know our neighbours and step outside of our professional routines."

We look for global solutions, whether it’s a local, grass-roots project or influencing international legislation.
One way in which we make an impact is to share our expertise and knowledge. Faculty deliver a series of life-skills lectures to year 12 students from local academies, sharing insights from their research. Students apply their learning through skill-based programmes supporting communities and entrepreneurs, including pro bono strategic advice to not-for-profits.
Staff share their professional knowledge and experience to raise the skill-set and aspirations of young adults and job-seekers from areas where social need is high. In partnership with education charities Young Enterprise and Enabling Enterprise, volunteers teach young people about business and the world of work.
Another way is by engaging with our local community and being good neighbours. LBS volunteers have organised social activities and creative workshops for local groups including The Marylebone Project, Fourth Feathers Youth Club and North London Cares.
Social impact - at the core of our curriculum:
Our London campus lies in the heart of a very diverse neighbourhood with pockets of significant deprivation. It is in these areas of social need, where we aim to make the greatest impact with the help of our community partners.
