Black Young Professionals Network, Black British City Group and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity provide a platform and network to connect with other Black professionals both around the world and here, in the United Kingdom.
BYP network is a platform designed to empower Black professionals around the world to connect with each other and global corporations. With a network o 50,000+ members and a focus on working with existing Black networks and businesses, BYP looks to increase employment opportunities for Black professionals. They do so by matching the best career opportunities to Black professionals, improving Black role model visibility and working with corporations to reduce bias in the hiring process.
BBCG is a network designed to connect and amplify the impact of high achieving Black professionals in the Black British community. The network aims to empower the Black British community through their impact work, performed through their three strands: Business, Charity, Youth.
Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) London is a not-for-profit organisation that prepares talented students from ethnic minority or low socioeconomic backgrounds for career success. The charity operates three flagship programmes, SEO Careers, SEO Scholars, and SEO Connect, to help members at different stages of their professional career.
SEO London thrives by virtue of its alumni-driven model and strong giving back ethos. SEO Careers alumni often become role models, trainers and mentors on other programmes within the group.
The Themba Muchaneta Black in Business Scholarship is named for a much loved MBA2021 alumnus who passed away in 2022. The scholarship is dedicated to support an exceptional student of Black or Mixed Black ethnicity who intends to contribute to racial equality and the Black in Business Club during their time at London Business School.
